Sandip is a banking and financial services professional, social entrepreneur and community builder with over 24 years of experience across banking, finance and institution building. Much of his career was spent with YES Bank during its formative and high-growth years, where he held leadership responsibilities across Eastern and North-Eastern India, including close engagement with the Managing Director & CEO's office and regional business leadership teams. This exposure provided him with a deep understanding of the economic, social and cultural diversity of the region, as well as the importance of long-term relationship building in driving sustainable growth.

Following a successful corporate career, Sandip chose to pursue a more purpose-driven path, focusing on initiatives that connect markets, communities and institutions for inclusive development. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of a Railway Co-operative Bank, supporting a community-owned banking institution serving employees and families across West Bengal and North-East India.

As a founding member of GRINS, he has helped shape initiatives spanning sustainable livelihoods, ecological agriculture, community wellbeing and social innovation. His work is guided by the belief that meaningful impact emerges when economic opportunity, environmental responsibility and social wellbeing are pursued together.

Sandip holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Presidency College, Kolkata, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), from ICFAI, Hyderabad.
